SPRING HAS SPRUNG……..
Monday, March 22nd, 2010Looks like spring is right around the corner. We had a great time at Jack’s this last weekend. Saturday night brought out about 30 or so “HORNY DEVIL’S” What a pleasure they were too.
We’re off this weekend but are looking forward to spending the first two weekends in April at the Double Six in Stanton. As you all know, it’s always a great time up there. Venture out and party with us BOTTOMS UP STYLE!!!!

Sunday, March 7th, 2010We had a great time at Double Six this weekend. The crowd was great both nights. We have such great friends and fans. They drive from all over to support us. We thank you.
We celebrated Timmy’s Birthday this weekend. He had some old school friends come out to hand and check out the band.That’s always nice.
We’ve got next weekend off but then we’re back at Jack’s in Spring Lake. That’s ALWAYS a fun time. Lookin’ forward to seeing out Spring Lake friends again.

Thursday, March 4th, 2010This weekend brings us back to the Double Six in Stanton. Gonna be a GREAT time as it always is. Pretty much the whole 1st set Friday night will be new songs never played before by this group. Should be lot O’ fun.
We’re celebrating Timmy’s birthday this weekend too. Wish him a Happy Birthday and we here he likes…. Well, we won’t go there.
Come on our and party with Bottoms Up. Spring in in the air. Lets Rock!!!

Sunday, February 21st, 2010Let me tell ya, Kirby Grill was rockin’ last night.We had a great time. We will be back soon so keep checkin our schedule on out myspace and our website. We will be coming back to Jack’s in Spring Lake soon too. We have next weekend off and are back at the double Six in Stanton March 5th and 6th. Better come and join us because it is the last time we are booked there before Ed the owner closes that part of the bar down for the summer. We want EVERYONE to get their BOTTOMS UP “FIX”
Times are getting tough and the economy really stinks right now and club owners are struggling trying to keep good entertainment in their establishments so now more than ever WE need YOU to keep coming out to support live music. Without YOU there won’t be an US.Thanks for all your support. Keep live rock n roll alive…..

What a Weekend……
Monday, February 15th, 2010You guys were INSANE this last weekend at the B.O.B. Full house both nights. Lots of old friends came out to see us and as always, made lots of new friends too.
This weekend brings us back to the Kirby Grill in Grand Haven. Last time we played there it was Literally “Standing Room Only” Would LOVE to see it that way again. Come on out and join us for some fun Grand Haven style.

Have a great 2010!
Message from Dave to the BOTTOMS UP family,
Just wanted to write a little message to my BOTTOMS UP Brothers and Followers of the group. I just wanted to thank the guys in the band for understanding my decision. This was one of the most hardest decisions I’ve had to make in a very long time. Believe me, it’s something that I don’t want to do, but I truly believe that stepping away for the time being will give me the time that I need. However, please be aware that I will probably be going crazy not having this outlet in my life.
I’ve been in this band since its start in 2002 and have loved every minute of it. The guys in this group are more than just “band members” to me. I’ve grown up with these guys in my life and they really are friends. It’s no surprise that I’ve played with these same guys in past bands. It just works. It means more to me playing in a band of real friends and having a genuine good time rather than a band of members that you don’t really know and having to “pretend” or “putting on an act”. It’s much more fun not to put on an act and just have fun. This band has given me that ten fold and I thank you guys for that.
Now,,, to all of you who follow the band. Please continue to support these guys! The guys are bringing another close friend to the group during my absence. Mr Edward Baird is bringing his vocal & guitar talent to the band and will add to the band a lot. We’ve played in many past projects as well and will fit right in with BOTTOMS UP. Please keep up the support! Anyway, this is Dave signing off for now. Please take care.

Well… we survived the weekend, did you? New Year’s Eve was a riot! Thank you Chef Eric for the kind words and all the staff and guests at Watermark Country Club. We had a great time ringing the new year in with you all and we look forward to coming back soon!
Friday and Saturday took us up to Manistee… the weather was horrible, but the party was awesome! We had another fantastic time up to Little River. We can always guarantee that a great time will be had by all when we are there! Thanks for sticking around everyone and hope you all made it home safely! We will be back later this year… when the snow melts! : ) Pictures are up on Flickr!
We will see you on the lakeshore this weekend at Jacks… till then stay safe and happy new year!
